I have decided to keep the world and those who care informed on what is going on in the lives of The Baca's through this blog....
This month has been crazy already and we have no signs that it may be slowing down in the near future. Amos started his new job as the TLE Support Manager at Wal-Mart. So far he likes his job and is far less stressed then he was when he was at Discount Tire. Amos has big goals in mind as usual and I know he will not fall short. He works only 40 hours a week, which he was not used to at Discount Tire, so this has worked out great for us. Now if we can keep him healthy we will be ok!! He is getting over a slight bought with pnemonia that we were able to get a handle on before it got to serious! For the past two saturdays I have offically been labeled a "soccer mom!" Degan and Prestyn are enjoying their time at "Lil Kickers." Its such a great program at the local indoor soccer facility that is teaching the boys the fundamentals of soccer, team work and taking direction!! The first week was kinda bad and I was worried it would continue on. However, the boys proved me wrong and did so good the second time around. I think we can only get better from here! Prestyn knows that the ball is to kick not to hold and run around with, he knows when the coach says sit in a circle he needs to sit!! Degan needed to be around kids his age, since the boys do not go to day care. The program will continue through March then after that its golf time for Degan and hopefully i can introduce tennis to Prestyn!!
As for me......I am in my 18th week of pregnancy and I have been feeling so much better. The first 17 weeks were so rough and I was pretty sick. This feeling was so new to me because with Degan and Prestyn I was never sick! My ultrasound is scheduled for Friday February 19th and I can hardly wait!!! We are planning on finding out the gender and hopefully everything will look good on the baby!! We are excited to be adding one more to our family!! Degan is excited and says that "his baby sister is in my belly...and his big brother is in his!" Prestyn could care less but I do know as of right now he dislikes any baby i hold or come close to....So as the time approaches I have a feeling we will be bringing a doll into the picture to get him used to it. Does anyone else have any suggestions on transitioning him? Degan was never like that with Prestyn he was so sweet. But Prestyns personality is far different!
Im still working four days a week and attending school on wednesday nights at the University of Phoenix for my MBA, which with no breaks I will be done with in May 2011! Seems so far away.....
Amos and I have been truly blessed with a lot of help with the boys!! Amos is off two days during the week and me one so on the days we both work my mom and pop watch the boys for us!
We are also busy preparing for "Tia Ashley's" or "our sissy's" wedding!!! She is getting married March 20th and we are just as excited as she is! As her Matron of Honor I am trying my best to make this as less stressful as can be!! The wedding is going to be beautiful despite me being 6 months pregnant and looking that pregnant in all the pictures!! Oh well!
Well....thats it for now, I will post some pictures of my belly and of the family when i can finally figure this out.
